About Me

WANNA KNOW MORE?

SURE THANG!

Like previously mentioned, my name is Jackson Lee Reed (look how it rhymes and rolls right off the tongue!) and I am a passionate human in the world of acting and music. Above all things, I strive to be my most authentic self as much as I possibly can. Somethin like that.I love creating and collaborating in every aspect of it and because of my ADHD-ified brain, it is all I really think of.

ACTING!

The first play I was ever in was in elementary school playin some evil villain named "Doctor Shock Clock" who could freeze time. Pretty dope if I do say so myself. Then my mom got me to audition for Wizard of Oz in middle school, and I've never stopped auditioning since. Yuh.
My favorite moments acting on the stage so far, in my 22 years of life, have been Alex in A Bright New Boise and Mr. DePinna in You Can't Take it With You and also, St. Thomas in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot

I recently helped write and compose the music for a student original full-legnth musical called Meddling Kids! A Scooby Doo Musical Parody. I also was Music Director and piano accompanist for the production!

MUSIC!

I have been playing piano for 10 years, which is crazy cause that's like almost half of my life on Earth so far. I also am pretty good on a guitar or bass or any instrument for that matter! Fuck it! Give me the Bagpipe!
For the last year, I've been playing 1-3 hour long sets at the Magic Bean Coffee Shop in Springfield. Its been really fun getting to craft a setlist and work on it.
I've been writing music non-stop since junior year of high school and it has continued to be a great creative/emotional outlet for me.

If I'm not working on my craft or making the moneys, I'M HAVING FUN BABYYY
